I believe in making an impact and am driven by a strong desire for self-determination and self-motivation. As Chairwoman of the Board at Zinduka e.V., I am able to make a difference in areas where young girls and women do not have the same opportunities that I have had in my own life.

I want to bring my experience as an entrepreneur and communications expert to bear, along with my conviction that we can bring about real change if we are fully committed. Ending FGM/C is a fight to ensure an inalienable human right and to create a world in which every girl and every woman has the right to a safe, equal, and self-determined life. To achieve this, an NGO like Zinduka e.V. must be active both directly on the ground and close to the people, as well as internationally at the political and organizational levels.

My role is to support all stakeholders in fulfilling their responsibilities with the best possible outcomes, finding effective solutions to their challenges, and enabling the organization to grow in a healthy way. Protecting girls’ rights is our shared mission; the right to a life of freedom is my personal conviction.
