Zinduka e.V. first came into my life through an FGM workshop organized by a student initiative. The issue of Female Genital Mutilation had already accompanied me throughout my medical studies and my engagement with global health.

To me, Zinduka represents a multisystemic and participatory approach to advancing the rights of women and girls.

Having worked in sexuality education for children and adolescents for many years, I believe that raising awareness about Female Genital Mutilation, breaking taboos, and dispelling myths are essential. At Zinduka, I primarily contribute to this work through our social media channels.

In my free time, I combine these interests with sewing projects. I also enjoy practicing martial arts and paddling on the River Lahn.
