As a teenager, I was drawn to Kenya, where I first encountered the reality of female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C). At the same time, I met inspiring people who showed me that lasting change comes from within communities themselves. These experiences continue to motivate me to support girls and women in shaping their lives with confidence, dignity, and self-determination.

Drawing on my experience as a paramedic and my studies in Community Development in Kenya, I now contribute to Zinduka’s strategic development while supporting the creation of new programmes and partnerships. What inspires me most are the remarkable journeys of our programme participants and the positive changes driven by communities themselves.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, travelling, and knitting.
